Hi! I’m Tess. The founder and go-to gal at Edison Content Co.

I started my content consulting journey the hard way… after 7+ years of rise-and-grind marketing work led to my own corporate burnout. (Or maybe the BEST way, because now I get to help you through it, too!).

I had just returned to my agency role after having my first baby and was thriving driving the struggle bus juggling the demands of both work and home.

I knew immediately I couldn’t spend my 9-5 working just to get a 5-9 with my family. There had to be a better way.

So, I took a step of faith and checked out a few flexible freelance roles. Surprisingly, people hired me! Word spread, and the work grew.

Today, my team and I offer back-office, content, and strategic support to help small business owners scale their businesses without burning out in the process.

  • Because I put my family first, I tend to work when and where it works for me (my entire team and most of my clients are the same way)! However, I do my best to respond to all new inquiries within two business days. If you’re an existing client, I hope you’ve just texted/voxed me already.

  • Great question! Long story short… it depends. I’ve intentionally built my business around my family’s needs instead of vice versa. All my solopreneurs or small business clients think the same way: that’s why we work so well together! I’m probably not your girl if you want a dedicated professional ready to go at all hours of the day. BUT, if you want a back-office partner that shares your priorities and understands your anti-work-to-live mindset, I’d love to chat.
